Sleep Thief

Brand Design

Effie and Sophie first came to me via a recommendation in the amazing DIFTK (Doing it for the kids) Facebook group ran by the amazing Frankie. They were looking for a brand designer to help them create a visual tone of voice for their brand but didn’t really know of anyone who could help. They’d had some initial branding created for their business but wanted to take it to the next level so they could target their ideal clients.

Effie and Sophie started Sleep Thief as two new mums on a mission to problem-solve by making changing times easier for parents everywhere. We create sustainable and organic baby clothing which is kind to babies and the environment, and we do all this in the UK to support British manufacturing.

Sleep Thief was so relatable to me as a mum of two so I ‘got’ them straight away.

Initially we they wanted to focus on getting their social media content looking spot on. They felt that although they were making sales they weren’t targeting the right people enough and they knew the importance of getting this right so they could see a ROI from their marketing.

There was also another important factor to creating the social graphics. They wanted the designs to be templates, so they could use them as and when needed. For this I recommended Canva as the templates for be easily transferred to their Canva account for them to update content to and post via their social platforms.

I worked with Effie and Sophie through my 5 stage design process to create the new branding, it was really exciting to see it all come together.

“Thank you so much for sending through your initial ideas and inspiration for Sleep Thief. We absolutely love what you have put together for us, it is very much what we have been envisioning.”

The girls loved the final concepts so much that they decided to push on with further brand development such as Brand Guidelines, Email Design and The 2020 Look Book.

“Can we just say how refreshing it is to have someone completely understand our vision and be proactive with it? These templates have turned out even better than we could have imagined.”
